Breast augmentation
Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure that takes 1 – 2 hours. Breasts are in most of the cases enlarged with silicone implants that are inserted under the breast muscle or the mammary gland. The treatment is performed under general anesthesia and it is necessary to stay at the hospital for one to to days. The recovery process after breast augmentation takes 7 to 14 days. It s necessary to wear special fixation bra. Risks associated with breast augmentation are individual and they are also connected with immune system and post-surgical care of each patient. Possible complications are capsular contracture, implant protrusion or other implant deformation, seroma or reduced nipple sensation.
