Breast reconstruction after mastectomy is performed either immediately after the surgery of a tumor. The patient then avoids psychic impacts from the loss of the breast. The implants and the own tissue form usually basic material of the reconstructed breast. After implant placement an areola and a nipple is reconstructed in the time interval of 3 months. Still more often there is used a method of breast augmentation with the help of own abdominal tissue. Possible complications are usually associated with the patient's state and the used method of breast reconstruction.
