Rhinoplasty - Nose surgery
It is possible to perform rhinoplasty either under general or local anesthesia. Rhinoplasty takes 1 – 2 hours, the surgeon shapes the soft and the hard part of a nose according to expectations and anatomic and aesthetic possibilities of the patient. During the surgery the surgeon uses inner or outer incisions that are inconspicuous after the healing process. Immediately after the surgery a plaster stent is put on the patient's nose, it is necessary to have it for 7 to 14 days. During this period of time blood bruises and swellings are very frequent especially in the area around eyes. Risks associated with the nose surgery are the same as by any other surgery with anesthesia.
